Species information

Murdannia graminea     (R.Br.) G.Brueckn.

This native groundcover is commonly known as grass lily.

Reported at 27 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Beelbi Creek, Boonooroo Plains, Burrum River, Duckinwilla, Dunmora, Howard, Kawungan, Maryborough, Owanyilla, Pialba, Point Vernon, Poona, Prawle, Susan River, Takura, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Tinana, Tinnanbar, Tuan Forest, Urangan, Urraween, Walkers Point, Walliebum, Walligan, Yengarie.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act this taxon is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Murdannia graminea is described as a "monocot" in the Commelinaceae family.
