Xanthorrhoea fulva     (A.T.Lee) D.J.Bedford

This native groundcover is commonly known as wallum grass tree.

Reported at 13 Fraser Coast localities: Boonooroo Plains, Burrum Heads, Craignish, Duckinwilla, Fraser Island, Howard, Maroom, Poona, Takura, Talegalla Weir, Toogoom, Tuan Forest, Walligan.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act this taxon is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Xanthorrhoea fulva is described as a "monocot" in the Xanthorrhoeaceae family.
