Acacia cambagei     R.T.Baker

This native tree is commonly known as gidgee.

Reported at 1 Fraser Coast locality: Duckinwilla.

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act this taxon is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Acacia cambagei is described as a "higher dicot" in the Leguminosae (Mimosaceae) family.

Also known as stinking wattle. Mainly a species of inland Australia. A couple of outlying records near Bundaberg.
