Species information

Acacia decora     Rchb.

This native shrub is commonly known as pretty wattle.

Reported at 1 Fraser Coast locality: Malarga.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act this taxon is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Acacia decora is described as a "higher dicot" in the Leguminosae (Mimosaceae) family.

Widely distributed across eastern Australia. However records for Fraser Coast region confined to the far west in the vicinity of Mount Walsh.
