Species information

Cupaniopsis newmanii     S.T.Reynolds

This native tree is commonly known as long-leaved tuckeroo.

Cupaniopsis newmanii is described as a "dicot" in the Sapindaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Near Threatened. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Main population in the Gold Coast hinterland with one outlying record to the north near Gympie. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
