Species information

Cupaniopsis sp. (Biggenden J.Randall 600)    

This native tree is commonly known as Fairlies Knob tuckeroo.

Cupaniopsis sp. (Biggenden J.Randall 600) is described as a "dicot" in the Sapindaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Confined to Fairlies Knob and the Childers district (Gwen Harden, Hugh Nicholson, Bill McDonald, Nan Nicholson, Terry Tame, John Williams. 2014. Rainforest Plants of Australia). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
