Dillwynia retorta     (J.C.Wendl.) Druce

This native shrub is commonly known as twisted parrot pea.

Dillwynia retorta is described as a "dicot" in the Leguminosae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Recorded on Fraser Island with one record on mainland near Toogoom. Northern limit of south-east Queensland population. https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/49539027 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 3 Fraser Coast localities: K'gari, Tuan Forest, Walligan.
