Species information

Utricularia nivea     Vahl

This native groundcover is commonly known as small white bladderwort.

Utricularia nivea is described as a "dicot" in the Lentibulariaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Not recorded in the Fraser Coast region however reported at Maaroom (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/111897750#activity_comment_da2c18d0-20ec-4151-ad84-d914f414f712). 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
