Species information

Aggreflorum brachyandrum     (F.Muell.) Peter G.Wilson

This native shrub is commonly known as weeping tea-tree.

Aggreflorum brachyandrum is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Replaces Leptospermum brachyandrum (Queensland Flora Census 2023).  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 15 Fraser Coast localities: Aldershot, Bauple Forest, Bidwill, Burrum Heads, Duckinwilla, Magnolia, Mount Urah, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Tinana, Tinnanbar, Toogoom, Tuan Forest, Walligan, Yengarie.
