Species information

Eucalyptus conglomerata     Maiden & Blakely

This native tree is commonly known as swamp stringybark.

Eucalyptus conglomerata is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Endangered. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is classified as Endangered.

Distribution is to the south on the Sunshine Coast with a disjunct population at Tansey north-west of Gympie.  Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
