Species information

Eucalyptus decolor     A.R.Bean & Brooker

This native tree is commonly known as ironbark.

Eucalyptus decolor is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Near Threatened. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

In the Fraser Coast region appears to be restricted to Mount Walsh which is the southern limit. Elsewhere found in scattered elevated areas north to the vicinity of Gladstone. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
