Species information

Hibbertia vestita     A.Cunn. ex Benth.

This native groundcover is commonly known as hairy guinea flower.

Hibbertia vestita is described as a "dicot" in the Dilleniaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 35 Fraser Coast localities: Aldershot, Antigua, Bauple Forest, Beelbi Creek, Bidwill, Boonooroo Plains, Booral, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Burrum Town, Doongul, Dunmora, Granville, Howard, Maryborough, Mount Urah, Pacific Haven, Poona, St Mary, Sunshine Acres, Susan River, Takura, Talegalla Weir, Tandora, Teddington, Tinana, Tinnanbar, Tuan Forest, Urangan, Walkers Point, Walliebum, Walligan, Wondunna, Yengarie, Yerra.
