Isolepis cernua     (Vahl) Roem. & Schult.

This native groundcover is commonly known as nobbing club-rush.

Isolepis cernua is described as a "monocot" in the Cyperaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Prefers growing in wet sites or in shallow water (https://resources.austplants.com.au/plant/isolepis-cernua/). Recorded on Sandy Creek in Tinana Creek catchment. East coast northern limit of species. Reported on K'gari (Fraser Island). https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/64918104 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
