Ficinia nodosa     (Rottb.) Goetgh., Muasya, & D.A.Simpson

This native groundcover is commonly known as knobby club rush.

Ficinia nodosa is described as a "monocot" in the Cyperaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

K'gari (Fraser Island) is the northern limit of this coastal species. Previously known as Isolepis nodosa (Australian Plant Census). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: K'gari, Poona, Sunshine Acres, Tinnanbar.
