Seringia corollata     Steetz

This native shrub is commonly known as inland velvet flower.

Seringia corollata is described as a "dicot" in the Byttneriaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Uncommon in the Fraser Coast region restricted to the western hills including Wongi National Park and Mt Walsh. In the Australian Plant Census known as Keraudrenia corollata (Steetz) Druce in family Malvaceae.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
