Leucaena leucocephala subsp. glabrata     (Rose) Zarate

This introduced shrub is commonly known as leucaena.

Leucaena leucocephala subsp. glabrata is described as a "dicot" in the Leguminosae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Listed as an invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014 but not prohibited or restricted. Vegetative buds and new growth glabrous or nearly so; calyx lobes only ciliate; pod glabrous (From: Holland, A.E. (2007). Environmental weed profile: Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.) De Wit. It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
