Recorded distribution in Fraser Coast region confined to Mount Walsh and K'gari (Fraser Island). Also reported at Talegalla Weir, Glenwood, Burgowan and Boonooroo Plains. Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting).
