Macadamia integrifolia     Maiden & Betche

This native tree is commonly known as Bauple nut.

Macadamia integrifolia is described as a "dicot" in the Proteaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable.

Northern limit is Mount Bauple and elsewhere south to the Gold Coast. Leaf blade apices obtuse, seeds 1.8-3.0 cm in diameter, kernel edible (Stanley and Ross. 1986. Flora of south-eastern Queensland, Volume 2). Fruiting and flowering Mount Bauple July 2016 (Photos). Listed as a priority locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region Threatened Species Action Plan (Ecosure 2019, Stage 2 TSAP for Fraser Coast LGA, version R3, Report to Fraser Coast Regional Council. Brisbane.). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Point Vernon, Tinana, Tinana South.
