Melaleuca dealbata     S.T.Blake

This native tree is commonly known as blue leaved paperbark.

Melaleuca dealbata is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Southern limit within Fraser Coast region. Southernmost report at Poona. Listed as a priority locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region Threatened Species Action Plan (Ecosure 2019, Stage 2 TSAP for Fraser Coast LGA, version R3, Report to Fraser Coast Regional Council. Brisbane.). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 23 Fraser Coast localities: Beaver Rock, Beelbi Creek, Boonooroo, Booral, Burrum Heads, Craignish, Dundowran Beach, Eli Waters, Great Sandy Strait, Maaroom, Pacific Haven, Point Vernon, Poona, River Heads, Scarness, Takura, Tandora, Toogoom, Torquay, Tuan, Urangan, Urraween, Wondunna.
