Species information

Ochrosperma lineare     (C.T.White) Trudgen

This native shrub is commonly known as straggly baeckea.

Ochrosperma lineare is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Previously known as Baeckea linearis (Australian Plant Census). https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/136263127 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 13 Fraser Coast localities: Beelbi Creek, Burrum Heads, Craignish, K'gari, Pacific Haven, Poona, Tinana, Tinnanbar, Toogoom, Tuan Forest, Urangan, Walligan, Wondunna.
