Species information

Pimelea latifolia     R.Br.

This native groundcover is commonly known as hairy riceflower.

Pimelea latifolia is described as a "dicot" in the Thymelaeaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Not recorded in the Fraser Coast region although there are records to the north and south. 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 2 Fraser Coast localities: Urangan, Walligan.
