Species information

Angophora subvelutina     F.Muell.

This native tree is commonly known as broad-leaved apple.

Angophora subvelutina is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 20 Fraser Coast localities: Aramara, Bauple Forest, Boompa, Brooweena, Doongul, Dundathu, Gigoomgan, Glenorchy, Gootchie, Gundiah, Island Plantation, Mount Urah, Owanyilla, Paterson, St Mary, Teddington, Tiaro, Tinana, Tinana South, Walkers Point.
