Rubus laudatus     L.H.Bailey

This introduced shrub is commonly known as kittatinny blackberry.

Rubus laudatus is described as a "dicot" in the Rosaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Disjunct records near Brooweena in the 1960's. Reported west of Maryborough (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/48517578). See observation with photos of flowers, fruits and leaves outside the region near Maleny https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/143147112 and near Landsborough https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/144054528. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
