Schoenoplectiella mucronata     (L.) J.Jung & H.K.Choi

This native groundcover is commonly known as triangular club rush.

Schoenoplectiella mucronata is described as a "monocot" in the Cyperaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Previously known as Schoenoplectus mucronatus (Queensland Flora Census 2015) which was listed as a wetland indicator species in Queensland WetlandInfo. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 8 Fraser Coast localities: Burrum Heads, Maryborough, Paterson, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Tiaro, Tuan Forest, Yengarie.
