Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Uncommon species and restricted to limited ecosystem types within the region. Not recorded in the region but reported at Tinana Creek, Mt Bauple, Fraser Island, Lenthalls Dam and Dundowran. These are northern populations of the main southern distribution of this species.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
Reported at 13 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Booral, Duckinwilla, Dundowran, Dundowran Beach, Glenwood, Howard, K'gari, Magnolia, Teddington, Tiaro, Tinana, Urraween.
