Trochocarpa laurina     (R.Br. ex Rudge) R.Br.

This native shrub is commonly known as tree heath.

Trochocarpa laurina is described as a "dicot" in the Ericaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Recorded in the Fraser Coast region on K'gari (Fraser Island) and near the mouth of Mary River at German Creek. Also reported at Poona Creek. https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/81278978 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
