Species information

Leucopogon affinis     R.Br.

This native shrub is commonly known as lance-leaved beard heath.

Leucopogon affinis is described as a "dicot" in the Ericaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

In the Fraser Coast region recorded on K'gari (Fraser Island) but not on the mainland. Description at https://apps.lucidcentral.org/plants_se_nsw/text/entities/leucopogon_affinis.htm 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
