Species information

Eucalyptus racemosa     Cav.

This native tree is commonly known as scribbly gum.

Eucalyptus racemosa is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

See Eucalyptus racemosa subsp. racemosa which is still recognised in Queensland Flora Census 2021. In the Australian Plant Census subspecies are no longer recognised.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
