Telmatoblechnum indicum     (Burm.f.) Perrie, D.J.Ohlsen & Brownsey

This native groundcover is commonly known as swamp water fern.

Telmatoblechnum indicum is described as a "fern" in the Blechnaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Previously known as Blechnum indicum (Australian Plant Census). Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 22 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple Forest, Beaver Rock, Beelbi Creek, Bidwill, Boonooroo Plains, Burrum Heads, Craignish, Duckinwilla, Dundowran Beach, Granville, Island Plantation, K'gari, Poona, Takura, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Tiaro, Tinnanbar, Toogoom, Tuan Forest, Walligan, Yerra.
