Calamus muelleri     H.Wendl.

This native vine or climber is commonly known as lawyer vine.

Calamus muelleri is described as a "dicot" in the Arecaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Uncommon species in the Fraser Coast region. Recorded at Tinana Creek which is at the northern limit of this species.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 6 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple Forest, Bidwill, Magnolia, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Tuan Forest.
