Species information

Corymbia citriodora subsp. citriodora     (Hook.) K.D.Hill & L.A.S.Johnson

This native tree is commonly known as lemon-scented gum.

Corymbia citriodora subsp. citriodora is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Both subsp. present in the Fraser Coast region. C. citriodora subsp. citriodora confirmed at Vernon State Forest Takura, Nahrung Rd Doongul and reported at Howard. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 13 Fraser Coast localities: Boompa, Burgowan, Doongul, Duckinwilla, Glenwood, Malarga, Point Vernon, Takura, Teddington, Tinana, Torbanlea, Urangan, Yerra.
