Species information

Acacia myrtifolia     (Sm.) Willd.

This native shrub is commonly known as myrtle wattle.

Acacia myrtifolia is described as a "dicot" in the Leguminosae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Main distribution is to the south of the Fraser Coast region. Recorded at Mt Walsh. Coolum observation https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/85085748. D'aguilar National Park observation https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/127815537  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
