Species information

Acacia podalyriifolia     A.Cunn. ex G.Don

This native tree is commonly known as Queensland silver wattle.

Reported at 7 Fraser Coast localities: Boompa, Doongul, Glenwood, Malarga, Point Vernon, Tinana, Walligan.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act this taxon is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Acacia podalyriifolia is described as a "higher dicot" in the Leguminosae (Caesalpinioideae, mimosoid clade) family.

Recorded in the Fraser Coast Region at Mount Walsh. Commonly planted in other areas across the region.
