Species information

Acacia harpophylla     F.Muell. ex Benth.

This native tree is commonly known as brigalow.

Reported at 1 Fraser Coast locality: Burgowan.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act this taxon is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Acacia harpophylla is described as a "higher dicot" in the Leguminosae (Caesalpinioideae, mimosoid clade) family.

Recorded distribution is west of Biggenden. Reported at Howard.
