Species information

Crinum flaccidum     Herb.

This native groundcover is commonly known as Murray lily.

Crinum flaccidum is described as a "monocot" in the Amaryllidaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Anthers are yellow (Stanley and Ross. 1989. Flora of south-eastern Queensland Volume III). Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 9 Fraser Coast localities: Bidwill, Booral, Maryborough, Prawle, River Heads, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Walkers Point, Walligan.
