Acacia pubicosta     C.T.White

This native shrub is commonly known as rare wattle.

Acacia pubicosta is described as a "dicot" in the Leguminosae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

In Fraser Coast region restricted to the Mount Walsh area. Previously classified as Near Threatened in Queensland, but since 2014 listed as Least Concern. Flowering Boompa May 2016. https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/112125572 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
