Blyxa aubertii     Rich

This native aquatic plant is commonly known as roundfruit blyxa.

Blyxa aubertii is described as a "monocot" in the Hydrocharitaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Distribution in Queensland north from Townsville with a few records in Central Queensland as well as on the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane areas. Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
