Species information

Acronychia imperforata     F.Muell.

This native tree is commonly known as beach acronychia.

Acronychia imperforata is described as a "dicot" in the Rutaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Ocurs in some unusual sub-coastal populations including riparian vegetation at Aramara and St Mary (Peter Young).  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 37 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Boompa, Booral, Brooweena, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Craignish, Doongul, Dundowran, Dundowran Beach, Eli Waters, Glenbar, Gundiah, Howard, Kawungan, K'gari, Magnolia, Mount Urah, Nikenbah, Owanyilla, Pacific Haven, Pialba, Point Vernon, Poona, River Heads, Scarness, St Mary, Takura, Tandora, Teddington, Tinnanbar, Toogoom, Torquay, Tuan, Tuan Forest, Urangan, Urraween.
