Species information

Flindersia australis     R.Br.

This native tree is commonly known as crows ash.

Flindersia australis is described as a "dicot" in the Rutaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 44 Fraser Coast localities: Antigua, Bauple, Bauple Forest, Bidwill, Boompa, Booral, Craignish, Doongul, Duckinwilla, Dundowran, Dundowran Beach, Gigoomgan, Glenorchy, Glenwood, Gootchie, Granville, Gundiah, Howard, Kanigan, Kawungan, Magnolia, Malarga, Mount Urah, Mungar, Owanyilla, Paterson, Pialba, Point Vernon, River Heads, St Mary, Takura, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Teebar, Tiaro, Tinana, Tinana South, Toogoom, Tuan Forest, Urraween, Walligan, Woocoo, Yengarie, Yerra.
