Aegiceras corniculatum     (L.) Blanco

This native tree is commonly known as river mangrove.

Aegiceras corniculatum is described as a "dicot" in the Myrsinaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 22 Fraser Coast localities: Aldershot, Beaver Rock, Beelbi Creek, Boonooroo Plains, Booral, Burrum River, Craignish, Dundathu, Eli Waters, Granville, Howard, K'gari, Maryborough, Pacific Haven, Point Vernon, River Heads, Susan River, Tandora, Tinana, Tinnanbar, Toogoom, Tuan.
