Harnieria hygrophiloides     (F.Muell.) R.M.Barker

This native groundcover is commonly known as white karambal.

Harnieria hygrophiloides is described as a "dicot" in the Acanthaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

In Plants of the World Online known as Justicia hygrophiloides. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 12 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Brooweena, Craignish, Doongul, Duckinwilla, Howard, Magnolia, Mount Urah, St Mary, Takura, Teddington, Woocoo.
