Species information

Aglaia brownii     Pannell

This native tree is commonly known as Brown's aglaia.

Aglaia brownii is described as a "dicot" in the Meliaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Uncommon in the Fraser Coast region recorded at Mary River Heads. Also reported at Booral. Main distribution to the north with one disjunct population to the south near Gympie.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 2 Fraser Coast localities: Booral, River Heads.
