Alocasia brisbanensis     (F.M.Bailey) Domin

This native groundcover is commonly known as cunjevoi.

Alocasia brisbanensis is described as a "monocot" in the Araceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Uncommon species in the Fraser Coast region. No official records but reported at Wongi National Park, Tinana Creek, Mount Bauple, Mount Urah and Tiaro. Northern limit of southern Queensland population.  

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 7 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Brooweena, Dundowran, Mount Urah, Talegalla Weir, Tiaro, Tuan Forest.
