Species information

Oxalis perennans     Haw.

This native groundcover is commonly known as grassland wood sorrel.

Oxalis perennans is described as a "dicot" in the Oxalidaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

In Fraser Coast region recorded only on K'gari (Fraser Island). Very common elsewhere in Australia. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 3 Fraser Coast localities: Great Sandy Strait, Takura, Tinana.
