Species information

Amyema cambagei     (Blakely) Danser

This native epiphyte is commonly known as needle-leaved mistletoe.

Amyema cambagei is described as a "dicot" in the Loranthaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Distribution across inland and coastal New South Wales and Queensland. In the Fraser Coast region reported in foreshore coastal areas on Casuarina equisetifolia subsp. incana. At Tin Can Bay September 2018 and Dundowran Beach December 2018 host Casuarina glauca. Also reported at Maryborough. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 8 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, Maaroom, Point Vernon, Poona, River Heads, Tandora, Tinnanbar, Tuan.
