Species information

Auranticarpa rhombifolia     (A.Cunn. ex Hook.) L.Cayzer, Crisp& I.Telford

This native tree is commonly known as hollywood.

Auranticarpa rhombifolia is described as a "dicot" in the Pittosporaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Previously known as Pittosporum rhombifolium (Australian Plant Census). Flowering Jan/Feb 2016 at Maryborough.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 13 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Brooweena, Craignish, Duckinwilla, Dundowran Beach, Howard, Magnolia, Malarga, River Heads, Takura, Teddington, Toogoom, Woocoo.
