This native epiphyte is commonly known as small tangle orchid.

Very uncommon in the Fraser Coast region reported at Mt Bauple (Alan Logan) and Tinana Creek. A small dangling air plant suspended by one or more roots from live and dead twigs and small branches. Stems and roots pendulous 20-40cm long; stems with 4-8 narrow-lanceolate leaves 5-8cm in length. Flowering racemes pendulous 8-20cm long with 5-12 1.5cm diameter green and yellow flowers. Flowering period January-February. Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.
