Schinus terebinthifolius     Raddi

This introduced tree is commonly known as broad-leaved pepper tree.

Schinus terebinthifolius is described as a "dicot" in the Anacardiaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

A category 3 restricted invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014. Red fruit on female trees.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 36 Fraser Coast localities: Bidwill, Booral, Burrum Heads, Craignish, Duckinwilla, Dundowran Beach, Eli Waters, Glenwood, Granville, Great Sandy Strait, Howard, Island Plantation, Kawungan, K'gari, Magnolia, Maryborough, Pialba, Point Vernon, Poona, River Heads, Sunshine Acres, Susan River, Takura, Talegalla Weir, Tandora, Teddington, Tiaro, Tinana, Tinana South, Toogoom, Torquay, Tuan, Urangan, Urraween, Walligan, Yengarie.
