This native tree is commonly known as rusty tulip oak.

Argyrodendron sp. (Kin Kin W.D.Francis AQ81198) is described as a "dicot" in the Sterculiaceae family.

Reported at 12 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Bidwill, Doongul, Dundowran Beach, Gigoomgan, Gundiah, Magnolia, Malarga, Mount Urah, St Mary, Teddington, Urraween.
