Species information

Triflorensia cameronii     (C.T.White) Ali & Robbr.

This native tree is commonly known as Cameron's tarenna.

Triflorensia cameronii is described as a "dicot" in the Rubiaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Reported at Mt Urah, Wongi National Park, Mary River Heads and Dundowran which appears to be the northern limit. Elsewhere recorded in the South Burnett, Moreton and Darling Downs districts. Previously known as Diplospora cameronii and Tarenna cameronii (Australian Plant Census). See https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/110650346 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in Queensland Herbarium Wildlife Online.

Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Craignish, Doongul, Mount Urah, River Heads.
